Top 12 moments of 2018

World-class players, famous stadiums, hot new football boots. Together we’ve enjoyed all of that during 2018 and in the following lines we will prove that it has really been an exciting year. We picked for you the very finest moments of 2018, let’s get started!

Juventus Turin visit with Miralem Pjanić and Pavel Nedved

The year started in some style. On the invitation of Czech legend and Ballon d’Or winner Pavel Nedved we set off to Turin to look behind the scenes of one of the European greatest clubs – Juventus Turin itself.

During our visit to a fascinating complex of “The Old Lady” we were also lucky enough to interview a technical maestro Miralem Pjanić, who talked us through his favourite football boots, the reasons for which he plays football and the mindset young players should have to reach the top.

Lionel Messi and Tango League in Barcelona

To meet the questionably best man to ever play football was an extraordinary thing. We got the honour during our trip to Barcelona Tango League where adidas together with Lionel Messi presented the new football boots collection Cold Blooded. Something simply unforgettable.

Puma Future football boots launch

Our traveling fever then brought us to London where it was Puma to have its say. It was on this occasion that the brand-new Puma Future football boots were introduced to the football world. Our local audience was presented with the cleats later on during a perfect tournament hosted in our specialized store.

New Nike Mercurial Superfly 6

Faster than ever before. The Nike Mercurial boots that have been the embodiment of speed and agility for last decades received a new facelift and we got to say – it worked out perfectly. During the World Cup, they shined on the feet of the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo or the best young player of the tournament, the golden boy Kylian Mbappé. To test them on field we invited a Sparta Prague player Lucka Martínková. Did she share our excitement for the boot?

Top4Football 8th birthday party

In April, our specialized store in Prague witnessed a magnificent birthday party. Tens of young talented players battled for special prices in a skill contest under the supervision of Czech league side striker David Lafata. Tricks, flicks, technical masterpieces, unbelievable pannas, loads of smiles and of course – a birthday cake – were on the show. Truly what we call a TOP party.

Cesc Fàbregas in Top4Football TV

We tested the Chelsea FC star man with the help of a Slavia Prague goalkeeper Bara Votikova who had prepared for him three special challenges and the tasks he faced were nowhere near easy even for a player of his class. In the new Puma boots from the Illuminate Pack he definitely ranks among the biggest celebrities in the history of our Top4Football TV.

Nike Phantom Vision launch

The new model by Nike – Phantom Vision undoubtedly belongs to one of the biggest events of the year. To reveal the boots, we invited couple of young talented ballers who therefore became one of the first to touch them in our region. On top of that, we took the Phantoms to Sparta Prague academy central to let future Sparta stars test them on field.

Challenge with Petr Cech

Next one to enjoy the challenge of Honza Weber was a Czech legend and still one of the world’s top keepers – Petr Cech. Apart from perfectly completing our challenge, “Big Pete” told us about his football journey and passed on few tips for the new uprising generation. And that he really has a lot say you can convince yourself in the following video.

adidas Touch the Speed tournament in Prague

Something Prague has never seen before. The unique adidas Touch the Speed tournament took place in the atmospheric streets of Prague and it lured a big number of astonishing players. It really was a football show. The event that also enjoyed a presence of Pavel Nedved himself truly was something new. We always push the limits, always create new opportunities for young players, always come up with the new and unconventional. What does 2019 hold?

Freestyle world Champion Séan Garnier

Our next special host was Séan Garnier, known worldwide for the ability to nutmeg anyone and show of some unbelievable tricks. He was sharing the football joy not only in our special challenges but also during the meetup with his curious fans. On this occasion he presented us with his concept of the game and special freestyle footballs Urban Ball. Thanks for the visit, Séan!

New adidas Copa 19+

The revelation of the new adidas Copa 19+ football boots was another unforgettable moment of the year. The Argentinian gladiator Paulo Dybala was the first to wear the long-expected boots and from the very first moment no one could doubt that the new generation is just something different. Boots for the old-fashioned and over 30-year-olds? Definitely not! To play in the historically first laceless leather football boots is a fascinating experience which was proved by the Viktoria Pilsen defender Roman Hubnik who helped us test them on field.

EA SPORTS x Nike PhantomVSN limited edition

Third collaboration of the video games producer EA SPORTS and Nike which gave birth to a unique edition of the Phantom Vision boots was definitely the highlight of December. The collection is a celebration of all the game controllers, both on pitch and on the screen. Thanks to Top4Football these beauties found their way to our regions and there’s no wonder the 20 pairs got new owners this quickly.
